Martin Brennan

Martin Brennan is an English former professional footballer who is currently goalkeeping coach at Boreham Wood.

Martin played as a goalkeeper, beginning as a trainee at Charlton Athletic, before moving to Cambridge United for the 2002-03 season, where he played three times, once in each of the league, FA Cup and Football League Trophy. He then had brief spells with Welling United and Stevenage Borough, before retiring from playing after spending the 2004-05 season with Dagenham & Redbridge.

In 2006 he moved into goalkeeper coaching, becoming under-18s coach at Tottenham Hotspur. In 2008 he joined Wycombe Wanderers as first team goalkeeping coach, a position he held until 2012, when he moved on to Fulham. He coached their under-21 goalkeepers for two years, during which time he also appeared on the bench as an over-age player for the under-21s for three games in the 2013-14 season.

Brennan was promoted to Fulham first team goalkeeping coach in 2014. He left for Leyton Orient in 2016, moving to Hampton & Richmond Borough the following year.

In 2019 he joined the backroom staff at Boreham Wood, where he was once again registered as a player in October 2020 and featured on the bench.

Martin is a key member of the gloveglu crew and helps deliver their global coaching initiatives as well as being a presenter on The Goalkeeping Podcast.

Mitch Walker

Walker made his professional debut for Brighton & Hove Albion on the last day of the 2009-10 season starting in the 1–0 victory over Yeovil Town at the Withdean Stadium.

During January 2011, Walker signed on loan with Conference South side Welling United. On 1 March 2012, Walker joined Eastbourne Borough for a second loan spell.

Walker spent seven years at Dover Athletic before joining Aldershot Town the Summer of 2019. He went onto feature 93 times for the Hampshire-based side before leaving in 2022 to further establish his coaching career.

Mitch brings with him a wealth of experience and we welcome him to The Nationals.

Train and London Underground

The nearest London Underground and mainline train station is Harrow on the Hill (Metropolitan and Chiltern Lines). If you wish to walk from the station (ten minutes uphill), take the left exit after passing through the ticket barriers. At the end of the service road, turn left again, then take the first right up Grove Hill to reach the School. If you wish to take a taxi, take the right exit after passing through the ticket barriers, where you will find a taxi rank. Please stress that you need Harrow School, on top of the Hill, and not Harrow High School.

South Harrow (Piccadilly Line) is 20 minutes’ walk from the School: turn right after passing through the ticket barriers, continue across the Waitrose roundabout, and then up Middle Road, Crown Street and West Street until you meet the High Street. Taxis are rarely waiting at South Harrow, so it is best to pre-order one if required.

The 258 from Watford Junction to South Harrow and the H17 from Harrow Bus Station to Wembley Central both stop at Harrow School about every 15-20 minutes.
